Additional Notes in the Listing
of Burials In Round Mountain Cemetery

Provided by:
Milton Hawkins   (Dec 2003)

Note: Information other than military service is based on the work of Harriet Odiorne, Luke Kent, and others.  As noted in the (BCF) citations, they relied heavily on the research done by John Stribling Moursund for his book Blanco County Families for One Hundred Years.  They apparently used the first edition of that work, which is no longer readily available, so except where noted, we have cited pages of the revised edition, published in 1981.

The stolen horses numbered 100 head, and were carried back and turned over to the owners.
