Location:  From Blanco County Familiess for One Hundred Years pg. 209

  "One child of A. J. Johnson and Mattie Johnson nee Tuttle died while the family
was living at the site of the double log cabin located at what came to be called
McCarty Spring.  This child is buried several hundred yards west of the
present residence of Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Crofts."

According to Mrs. Sandra Crofts Earley, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. D.
Crofts who lives in the remodeled residence, this was a little girl who died of
typhoid fever.
