Shirley Ann Webb Cullum, 72, of Italy, Texas was born on September 24, 1946 in Dallas, Texas and married Gene W. Cullum on October 1, 1960.

Shirley worked in retail for many years, was a licensed cosmetologist and a substitute teacher for the Quinlan and Italy school districts.

At age 60, she graduated with a Bachelor of General Studies from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.

She was a huge Elvis fan and had a great passion for fishing, family and genealogy. She started with the TXGenWeb Project as a surfer in 1999, took over a county in 2002, and became Assistant State Coordinator. She served as the Texas State Coordinator since 2006.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents- Guy Clifford and Frances Wanell Webb, her husband of 39 years-Gene, 2 brothers-LeRoy Webb and Guy Webb and her granddaughter- Stephanie Pitt. She is survived by her sister- Donna Irish, and her brother -Bobby Webb, and six children: Daughters-Holly Spraberry and husband James, Valerie Pitt and husband David, Alicia Littlejohn and husband Johnny. Sons- Thomas Cullum and wife Cheryl Donald Cullum and wife, Mary and Wesley Collins and wife Carolann. 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Thank you for your service to the Texas GenWeb Project and all the support you gave me and other volunteer county coordinators. You will always be remembered and sorely missed. I know you will always be around in Spirit.
