LEAGUE CITY — Mrs. Nellie May Allen, 92, of League City, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2000. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Erman Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 29, 2000, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Pittsburg, Texas. Interment will be at Crossroads Cemetery in Pittsburg.

Mrs. Allen was retired from Mike Benet Formals of Pittsburg, Texas as a seamstress.

She is preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Allen, father, John William Efurd, and mother, Mary Addie Thomas Efurd.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Billie andLinda Allen of Crystal Beach,Texas; daughter and son-inlaw, Wanda and Paul King ofLeague City, Texas; brothers, Jack Efurd and John HartEfurd of Pittsburg, Texas, and Richard Efurd of Dallas, Texas;sisters, Locera Harger of Pittsburg, Gertha Collins, Dallas,Texas, Peggy Mills, BrokenBow, Nebraska, Gladys Reaves, Longview, Texas; grandchildren: Billy Allen, Arlington,Texas, Scott and wife, Penny King, Friendswood, Texas, Susan and Darrell O'Quinn, League City, Texas, Theresa and Dale McKnight-Terrell,Texas, Kimber and Chris Schneider, Pasadena, Texas; and 7 great grandchildren.
