GILMER - Graveside services for L.C. Buchanan, 59, of Gilmer, 
will be at noon Saturday, November 1, 2008, at Bolton Cemetery 
in Pittsburg, with the Rev. Byron Allen officiating. Arrangements 
are by Turner Bros. Mortuary. Mr. Buchanan died October 26, 2008, 
at his residence.

Born May 2, 1949, in Upshur County, he was a longtime Upshur 
County resident and a Baptist. 

Survivors include his son, Darrius Miller; daughter, Ieshia Miller; 
brothers, Buford Buchanan, James Buchanan, Odell Buchanan, J.D. 
Buchanan, L.M. Buchanan and Tommy Lee Buchanan; and sisters, Mattie 
B. Buchanan, Beatrice Brown, Willie Mae Buchanan and Sheila Hall.
