CAMP COUNTY - ROSE HILL CEMETERY


PITTSBURG - Services for Fred Allan Bates, 70, of Daingerfield, will be 11 a.m. today, December 18, 2007, at Church of Christ in Daingerfield, with Norman Miller and Tim Gibbs officiating. 

Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Arrangements are by Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Bates died December 16, 2007, at a local hospital. 

Born July 30, 1937, in Waco, he owned and operated Circle B food stores for a number of years and was a member of the Church of Christ in Daingerfield. 

Survivors include his wife, Norma Nisbett Bates; son, Jeff Bates; daughters, Jean Cook and Jill Fender; brother, Leon Bates; and sisters, Brenda McAlester and Patti Florey.
