Ellison, Rosie Edna PITTSBURG - Services for Rosie Edna Ellison, 78, of Pittsburg, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007, at Reeves Chapel United Methodist Church in Camp County, with Brother Tommy Earl Burton and Brother Doyle Rust officiating. Interment will be in Reeves Chapel Cemetery of Camp County. Arrangements are by Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. Ellison was born November 24, 1928, in Upshur County, and she passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at East Texas Medical Center in Pittsburg. She was a member of the Reeves Chapel Methodist Church. Mrs. Ellison was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was the owner of the Ellison Upholstery Co. Mrs. Ellison was preceded in death by her husband, John B. "Jack" Ellison on October 9, 1981; and her parents, Issac Phillips and Evealeaner Culpepper Phillips. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara and Willie Guerra of Pittsburg, and Sarah Jane and Ralph Luccous of Pittsburg; four grandchildren, Brenda Warrick of Pittsburg, Laura and Dewayne Morris of Mansfield, Racheal Luccous of Pittsburg and Anthony and Jennifer Guerra of Denton; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Phillips of Winnsboro; and seven sisters, Ruby Moss of Scroggins, Mary Gatewood of Dallas, Bessie Willard of Longview, Mattie Tomlin of Mount Pleasant, Betty Holmen of Longview, Sally Roberts and Sarah Smith, both of Wills Point. Pallbearers will be her nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, April 4, 2007, at the funeral home. Published in the Longview News-Journal on 4/6/2007.
