CAMP COUNTY - ROSE HILL CEMETERY Services for Carolyn Hazlewood Emery, 78, Pittsburg, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at First United Methodist Church, Pittsburg, with the Revs. Billy Condrey and Michael Bedevian officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Pittsburg, under direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home, Pittsburg. Mrs. Emery was born Jan. 16, 1935, in Pittsburg to Elmore and Thelma Malcolm Oldham. She died Sunday, May 12, 2013, in Pittsburg. She graduated from Pittsburg High School; was owner of Hazlewood Furniture; married Don Emery on June 11, 1988, in Pittsburg; and was a member of First United Methodist Church and of the Twentieth Century Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband of 21 years, LaCrae Hazlewood. Survivors include her husband, Don Emery; children, Angie and Steve Thornton, Tyler, Judy and Bill Hoffman, Mount Pleasant, Pam and Jody Thomas, Fredericksburg, Va., Randy and Lorrie Hazlewood, Winnsboro, and Traci and Michael Yourse, Alexandria, Va.; siblings, twin Carroll Oldham, Earle Oldham and Merle Jordan; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and the Emery family. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. There is no formal visitation; viewing will be until 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
