CAMP COUNTY - ROSE HILL CEMETERY


Clarence was born September 22, 1922 in Pittsburg to Fadie H. and Bessie Hardy Garrett.

Everett served in the US Army Air Corps during World War 2, seeing action in Italy. After the German surrender in May 1945, Everett's unit was selected for transfer to the Pacific, but the war ended before they reached their new station. 

On January 23, 1943 while stationed in Portland, Oregon, Everett wed Evelyn Reynolds. During their 65 years of marriage they would laugh, love, and raise two sons.

Following his military service Mr. Garrett worked for many years as the Pittsburg Postmaster.
