Hackler, J.S.

PITTSBURG - Services for J.S. Hackler, 87, of Pittsburg, will be at 10:30 a.m. 
Wednesday, September 12, 2007, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother 
Randy Stracener officiating. Interment will be in Matinburg Cemetery. Mr. Hackler 
died September 8, 2007, in Texarkana.

Born February 4, 1920, in Upshur County, he was a U.S. Army veteran and longtime 
Fina gas station owner. Survivors include his sons, John Hackler, Jackie Hackler 
and Joe Hackler; daughter, Janice Hills; brother, Doyle Copeland; and sisters, 
Evelyn Dyer and Lenna McNutt. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the 
funeral home.
