CAMP COUNTY - CROSSROADS CEMETERY 


Brenda Hamala, age 60, of Winnsboro, passed away Wednesday, March 2 in Tyler. Ms. Hamala was born February 23, 1956 in Beaumont, Texas to Freddie Joseph and Linnie Ruth Shelton Hamala. 

She raised two boys, Kenneth Lynn McNiel and Jeffery Benefield . Brenda cherished her family above all and devoted herself to providing the most comfortable upbringing for her sons, especially her youngest son Jeffery. 
Brenda was a caring person whose special passion was big cats of which she fostered a parade of over the years. She encouraged the development of a love of nature in her sons, which brought Jeffery great joy, she was his super hero.

Brenda is survived by her 2 sons: Jeffery Benefield and Kenneth Lynn McNeil and wife Brenna of Winnsboro; 2 grandsons, Agustus and Wooddro McNeil; and 2 brothers, Randy Hamala and Brian Williams, both of Pittsburg.

Graveside Services will be held Noon, Saturday, March 5 at Crossroads Cemetery with Bro. Perry Shirley presiding. 

Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery. The funeral procession, with casket, will be lead by Brenda's son Lynn and his mule team.
