Services for J.W. Harrel, 82, of Pittsburg, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 
2008, at Greer Boulevard Church of Christ, with Virgil Faires officiating. Interment 
will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mr. 
Harrel died October 1, 2008, in Pittsburg. 

Born December 23, 1925, in Pittsburg, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served 
during World War II and Korean Conflict, owner of Harrel's Plumbing and member of 
Greer Boulevard Church of Christ. 

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Harrel; sons, Pat Harrel, Dennis Harrel and Matt 
Harrel; daughter, Tonette Harrel; brothers, Calvin Harrel, Beauman Harrel and John 
"Bo" Harrel; and sisters, Edna Redding and Ila J. Kimbell. 

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
