OBITUARY

PITTSBURG - Services for Gene "Bad" Hendrix, 60, of Pittsburg, will be at 10 a.m. today, 
April 3, 2008, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Kyle Smith officiating. 
Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hendrix died April 2, 2008, in Pittsburg.

Born May 8, 1947, in Lawton, Okla., he was a retired electrician from Texas Utilities, 
a Mason and member of Emanuel Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hendrix; mother, Jo Hendrix; daughters, Shelly 
Newman and Kam Olivarez; and brothers, Bert Hendrix and Charley Hendrix.
