Zelma Louise Pearson Julius

Zelma Louise Julius, 76, of Atascocita TX died Monday, August 4, 2014. 

Visitation was held Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services were 
held 9 a.m. Friday, Rosewood Funeral Home, Humble, TX 77396. 

Interment followed in Rose Hill Cemetery, Pittsburg, TX. 

Zelma was born in Kermit, TX on May 4, 1938 to Margaret and Happy Pearson. Four 
days after graduating high school, she started with Southwestern Bell as a telephone 
operator and spent 45 years helping people connect to each other. She married and 
settled in Pasadena, TX for 37 years. Zelma was a loving, compassionate woman who was 
dedicated to caring for her family, friends, and animal companions. Extended family 
and friends enjoyed being with Zelma and feeling the joy of her love. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore “Ted” John Julius Jr. and 
granddaughter Steffani Stone 

Her loving survivors who will miss her: son Stephen Stone and wife, Lisa, and children 
Elijah, Lacy, Andrew, and Breann; daughter Pebbles Stone, and children Todd and Meagan; 
and daughter Anna Scanlan and husband, Al, and children Zoe and Zachary; her sister 
Martha Riojas and husband Ben; and several other nieces and nephews, great-nieces and 
great-nephews.
