EBENEZER CEMETERY - CAMP COUNTY PITTSBURG - Services for Faye McMinn, 91, of Pittsburg, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009, at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg, with the Rev. Duane Turner officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in Pittsburg, under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. McMinn died Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at a local hospital. Born June 7, 1917, in Camp County, she was a volunteer for the Pittsburg/Camp County Public Library, where the Genealogy Center at the Library was named after her. She was a member of the Camp County Genealogy Society. She served as the Camp County Historic Commission from 1970 to 2000. She had received the Good Samaritan Award in 1991. She was also a Pink Lady Volunteer with East Texas Medical Center Hospital in Pittsburg. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Rhynn McMinn of Pittsburg; daughter, Elizabeth Specht of Mariposa, California; and grandchildren, Jim Monty of Mariposa, California, Robert Monty of Pittsburg, Cathy VonSivers of Merced, California, Susan Phillips of Pittsburg, Billie Jo Arnold of Pittsburg and Kellie Jo Weber of Longview. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry McMinn; parents, Vender and Lela Weaver Ehrlich; brother, Robert Ehrlich; sister, Curtis Kennington and son-in-law, Elly Specht. Pallbearers will be Jim Monty, Bob Monty, Steve Phillips, Joe Weber, Charles Kennington, and Brian Wall. Honorary pallbearers will be Rusty Arnold and Charlie Kennington.
