CAMP COUNTY - ROSE HILL CEMETERY


Sue Sharp, age 76, of Tyler, formerly of Pittsburg, passed away Wednesday morning, 
August 31, surrounded by her family. Sue was born July 16, 1940 in Winnsboro to 
John Henry Willard and Katie Lou Dixon Willard.

Mrs. Sharp worked for the City of Pittsburg from 1974 until her retirement in 2003, 
serving as City Secretary for a number of years. After retirement she served on 
the Pittsburg City Council from 2004 to 2015. She was a member of the Presbyterian 
Church in Pittsburg. Sue was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and a dear 
friend to many.

She is survived by her husband Joe Sharp of Tyler; a son: David Sharp and wife Jan 
of Tyler; a granddaughter: Jacey Glover of Tyler; and a great-granddaughter: Heidi 
Glover also of Tyler. 

She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Katie Willard; two brothers and 
one sister.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 2 at the funeral home 
with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg.
