CASS COUNTY - ALAMANCE BAPTIST CEMETERY Funeral services for Barbara Olive Alexander, 85, of Farmerville, formally of Bastrop, were held at 12:00PM Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Bro. Woody Reeder officiating. Interment was at 4:00PM in the Alamance Cemetery near Atlanta, Texas on Thursday, Dec. 30th. Arrangements were under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville. Mrs. Alexander was born March 8, 1925 in England and served in the British Royal Army during WWII. She was a loving wife, homemaker, loved to read books, enjoyed camping and going to the ocean. She went to her heavenly home on Monday, December 27th, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Alexander; daughter, Stephanie Olson; son, William David Alexander; granddaughter, Tina Michelle Wooten/Clark and 3 great grandsons: Patrick, Dalton and Donald. Survivors include: 2 daughters: Beverley Cruse of Farmerville and Jennifer Lynn Puckett (Carlton Dan) of Harleton, TX; 8 grandchildren: Melissa, Tammy, Vickie, Charles, Teresa, Katrina, Christie and Tracy; 21 great grandchildren: Sabra, Adrell, Karissa, Danielle, Raven, Hannah, Cory, Trey, Conner, Kyra, Wendy, Destiny, Katie, William, Julie, Erica, Beau, Cruz, Willie, Candice and Jeremy; 5 great-great grandchildren: C. J. , Stephanie Ann, Braden/Tatum, Jayden and McKenzie; 2 sons-in-law: Harry Olson and Carlton Puckett and 2 sisters-in-law: Marjorie Barton and Vilma Barton. Pallbearers were William Wilkerson, Charles Cruse, Cory Brantley, Trey Brantley, Eddie Jones & Daryl Clark. Published Farmerville Gazette
