CASS COUNTY - ALAMANCE BAPTIST CEMETERY


Funeral services for Goldman Blizzard, 64, of Atlanta were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21 at Open Door Baptist Church in Queen City with the Rev. Dennis Biggons, the Rev. Bob Tripp and the Rev. J. W. Crow officiating. Interment followed in Alamance Cemetery in Cass County under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service. 

Blizzard was born in Cass County and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Queen City. He was a retired carpenter and rancher. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Myrtle Blizzard; two brothers, James "Bill" Blizzard and Charles Blizzard; two sisters, Lurline White and Eddie Mae Blizzard. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Hospice of Texarkana, 803 Spruce St., Texarkana, Texas 75501, or the building fund at Open Door Baptist Church in Queen City.
