HUGHES SPRINGS - Services for Richard Eggar, 80, of Avinger, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Avinger, with the Rev. Bob Crowder officiating.

Burial will be in Avinger Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

Mr. Eggar died April 24, 2010.

Born March 22, 1930, in Minneapolis, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was a retired advertising manager in news media and a member of First Baptist Church in Avinger.

Survivors include his wife, Ivis Eggar; sons, Bob, Jack, Bill and Tom Eggar and Michael Roberts; daughters, Debra Swan and Ellen Courtney; and sister, Marlene Salanardi.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today, April 26, 2010, at the funeral home.
