Opal Jaynes, age 95, of Texarkana, Texas died Thursday, December 6, 2012 at her residence.

Opal was born January 14, 1917 in Linden, Texas to Archie and Birdie Penny. She was retired from Brown & Miller Pickle Company and Jordan Home Health. She was a Baptist by faith and enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Birdie Penny; and a sister, Glenell Owens.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Fallis of Texarkana, Texas; four grandchildren, Cherrie Allen of Ashdown, Arkansas, Carla Reynolds and husband Denver of Texarkana, Arkansas, Cathy Fallis of Texarkana, Texas, Cynthia Edwards and husband Mark of Texarkana, Arkansas; seven great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren and a number of relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 10, 2012 at Corinth Cemetery, Cass County, Texas with Mark Edwards officiating.

Visitation will be 9:00-10:30 A.M., Monday, December 10, 2012 at Hanner Funeral Service.
