LINDENGraveside services for Estelle Modene Kirkland, 80, of Linden will be at ll:00 A.M. Monday, December 31, 2007 at the Corinth Cemetery with Dr. David Baxley officiating. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Kirkland passed away December 28, 2007 in an Atlanta Nursing Home. She was born in Mira, LA to Willie and Charlie Stuart Kirkland. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and a Baptist. She is survived by her husband, Winfred L. Kirkland of Linden, one son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Gloria Kirkland of Haughton, LA, two daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria and Chris Smith of Keithville, LA and Debbie Crawford of Jacksonville, Texas, 5 Sisters, Bessie Blackkburn, Juanita Treadway, Irene Crane, Dorothy Alice Moore, Savanne Lawrence, 4 Brothers, Garner Lawrence, Audry Lawrence, Wallace Lawrence, Truman Lawrence, and one Special Sister-In-Law, Dorothy Lawrence. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kirkland was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Elaine Kirkland Erwin and one Grandson, Terry Christopher Smith, Jr.
