Services for R. B. Kirkland, 74, of Douglassville, were held at 3 p.m. Monday, May 4, 1987, at Douglassville Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Mayton officiating. 

Burial was in Corinth Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Home.

He was born in Cass County and was retired from Bowie-Cass Electric Cooperative after 30 years, and a member of Douglassville Baptist Church.
