CASS COUNTY - CORINTH CEMETERY


Graveside services for A.W. (Dude) Moore, 82, of Marietta will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Corinth Cemetery, Linden. Arrangements are under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. 

Mr. Moore died Thursday, October 19, 2006 at an Atlanta hospital. He was born March 31, 1924 in Memphis, Texas. 

He retired from Red River Army Depot and had worked at Lone Star Steel. He served in the US Army during World War II, sustaining lifelong injuries and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a Baptist. 

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Moore of Marietta; his daughter, Linda Moore of Marietta; one son and daughter-in-law, Albert and Marsha Moore of Linden and a number of nieces and nephews.
