Danny Western Owens worked many years for E.G. McMillan at Piggly Wiggly and a number of years at Vineyards. 

He was the manager of Morris Twin Cinema in Daingerfield for 50 years where he will be fondly remembered as the ticket man. 

Danny was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and he enjoyed good food, family, and friends and spent his lifetime loving animals.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt and Elizabeth Owens; three sisters, Mary Redfearn, Louise Barton, and Della Owens; three brothers, Marky Owens, J.D. Owens, and Shorty Owens.
