Dudley Chapman Succumbs at 72

Dudley E. Chapman, 72-year-old resident of Clay County for 25 years, died in McKinney Hospital Monday.

Chapman, who lived on Route 2, Wichita Falls, was a retired farmer and a veteran of the Spanish-American War.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Dr. George R. Davis, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be
Spanish-American War veterans.

Surviving are his wife; one son, James A. Chapman, and one daughter,
Miss Jessamine Chapman, all of Wichita Falls
