Mrs. Marcela Hill

Mrs. Marcela Hill died at her home in east Bowie Nov., 29, 1920, after an illness of two weeks.  She was seventy-four years of age at the time of her death and had been practically an invalid for a number of years.

Mrs. Hill had lived in this county for nearly forty years, first in the Salona community, later at Stoneburg and then at Bowie, where her death occurred.

She had been a member of the Baptist church for more than half a century.  Her noble life endeared her to all those about her.  Her hours of suffering were made easier by the untiring care of a devoted daughter.

All of her children were present at the funeral services, which were conducted by the Rev. Theodore Miller.  Interment took place at the Salona cemetery.
