And So They Went.
  (From the People's Review)
A beautiful home wedding was solemnized yesterday morning at W.H. Cook home,
when the daughter, Miss Bula Mae, was united to T.B. Lewis, the Rev. Guy F.
Jones performing the sacred rite.  The couple were to sail away in auto, and to avoid
undue peace and quiet, "the gang" had a cordon of guards about the house. Mr.
and Mrs. Lewis were placed upon an elevated seat in an open car which was
driven by J.T. Goggans in a plug hat, smile and other de rigeur habilments.
And followed by a string of cars traipsed all the alleys of the city and
finally the business section. The cars bore wild streamers and each made all
the horn noise possible.
Enlivening disturbance, to which our popular natives must submit on such
occasion. Some of 'em survive the ordeal and are "happy ever after" that it
is over.

The sign on the side of the car says "The Beginning of a Long Journey"
They were married 36 years before he died in 1959.
