Obituary
CRANE, TX.
Coral Scott Rankin, 85, died Thursday, April 26, at
Midland Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today, April 28, at the
First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Medley
officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rankin Cemetery with services
under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of
Crane.
She was born March 17, 1916 in Big Spring. She was a
welder and was a ship builder during the war, as well as
a carpenter. She had owned an oilfield water sales
business.
She married W.E. "Billy" Rankin Jan. 13, 1947
in McCamey.
She was preceded in death by her husband Aug.18, 1995.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay Williams of San
Antonio; two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and
nephews.
