Francis Gould (F.G.) RENEGAR was murdered abt 7 Oct 1921. He is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Shawnee Oklahoma. The Cemetery Record has him listed under the name "F.S." RENEGAR. On his Head Stone his name is listed as "Gould" RENEGAR, which is his middle given name.

At the time of his death Francis was working for the Rock Island Railroad in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Dalhart, Texas. He was having problems in Dalhart, Hartley/Dallam County, Texas with a man over Francis' wife, Mary Enfield RENEGAR.

According to an affidavit by Francis this man swore to kill Francis. Francis was murdered about 7 Oct 1921. He could have been murdered in Dalhart, Texas, as his wife was living there. Her name was Mary ENFIELD. She married Francis Gould RENEGAR in about 1918, and probably in Dalhart. They had one child together, Mary Elizabeth, b. abt 1919. Gould's body could have been brought back from Texas to his home in Shawnee, Oklahoma, for burial, or he could have been killed in Texas.

Can anyone help me learn more about what happened to Francis Gould RENEGAR? There should have been a write-up in the News Paper about the Murder - even if Francis was murdered in Texas. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thank you.
