of Grandparents and a Great Uncle who lived many years in
Dublin, Erath Co., Tx.
Harrison Bailey Butler born 24 March
1854 in Philadelphia, Neshoba Co., Ms. Son of Joseph J. and Sarah
Jane (DeHay) Butler. Harrison married Sarah Jane Washam/Worsham
in 1888 in Attala Co., Ms. They had 10 children. They moved
from Ms. to Dublin Erath Co., Tx. between 1903 and 1906 to join his
brother Tom Butler and his family.

Thomas "Tom" Franklin Butler, born 25 May 1863 in Philadelphia Neshoba
Co., Ms. Thomas "Tom" married Mary Cora
Watkins in Ms. They moved from Ms.
to Dublin, Erath Co., Tx. in late 1903 or early 1904. They
belonged to the Methodist Church in Dublin Erath Co., Tx. They
had 9 children, the last two children, Joseph Watkins "Wad"
Butler was born Dec. 1904, and Oscar Devoe Butler was born in
1909 in Dublin, Erath Co., Tx. Many of their family still live in
and around Dublin and Stephenville, Erath Co.,Tx.
My GGrand Father,
Merdith/Meredith Marshall Hughs/Hughes born 3 July 1823 in Ky.
Married Susan A. Franklin, born 28 Dec. 1831 Wayne Co, Tn. They
married in Franklin Co., Ar. They had 10 children and they moved
their family from Ar., to Dublin Erath Co., Tx. in 1877, then moved to
Stephens Co., Tx. in 1894.
