Obituary Ira Roten   Resident of Ellis County Dies Thursday Retired Farmer and Operator of Grain Business Succumbs Ira Roten, 53 years old, died at his home at Midlothian at 3 a.m. Thursday, after having been ill since last Saturday. Mr. Roten, former operator of the gin at Mountain Peak, was a retired farmer and operated a grain business at Midlothian. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Midlothian, and the Woodman Lodge. Surviving are his wife and several children. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Midlothian Baptist Church, with interment following in the Midlothian Cemetery.
