Dorris Harrison served as the TXGenWeb El Paso County Coordinator from 1998 until her death in October of 2014.
She was sincerely dedicated to the project and to the idea of free online genealogy. Dorris will be greatly missed by her many online friends and the genealogy community.

Doris Omera Harrison

Doris Omera Harrison died Oct. 16, 2014. She was born Jan. 18, 1924, to Jesse and Ella Belle Stoner of Waldo, Florida. Doris moved to Napa in 2008 from El Paso, Texas. She was a kind and generous person, and enjoyed teaching people about the Bible and Jehovah God. She was an accomplished Southwestern artist and sculptor.

Doris is survived by her sister, Dr. Jessie Stoner; sons Robert and Roger; daughter Omer Ramsey; grandchildren Connie, Micah, Phillip, Preston, Carey, and Joey; and great-grandchildren Ian, April, Elliot, Anise, Ramona, Aria, Rachyl, and Alaina. She was predeceased by her husband, Louie Harrison; son Louie Harrison, Jr.; sisters Margarete Carter, Marcia Barcelli, Joyce Zagaroli and Vera Mae Harrison; and brothers JD Stoner and Charles Lawson.

Memorial services will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1976 Wise Drive at 2 p.m. on Oct. 25, 2014.
