NOTES:
Rev. Joseph McCrery, an Associate Reformed Presbyterian minister, was returning from a meeting of Synod in KY on the steamship "Lucy Walker" when it exploded on the Ohio River on October 23, 1844.  Mary Bonner McCrery and her children came to Freestone Co., TX with her father, William Bonner, guardian for her children.  The family owned a large amount of land including that where the Bonner Cemetery is located.  Mary Bonner McCrery moved to Corsicana with her daughter-in-law and granddaughters about 1900.
