Una Loyd Glazener

 Funeral servics were held Tuesday at First United Methodist Church of Fairfield for Una Loyd Lott Glazener, 92, of Fairfield who died Sunday, January 31, 1993.

Mrs. Glazener was born April 1, 1900, in Fairfield to William Lloyd and Fredonia Grace Davis Lott and lived in the same location for 70 years. She was married to Edwin Franklin Glazener on February 22, 1920.  He preceded her in death. Mrs. Glazener was a member of First United Methodist Church and a homemaker.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fred Lang officiating. Burial was at Fairfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers were O. B. Utley, Jr., Sam Bill Bournias, Hugh Reed, Jr., Charles Glazener, Jim Clayton and David Lott.  Honorary pallbearers were Ramon Kirgan, Suel Hill, Mervill Wood, Dr. Christopher Glazener, Dr. J. H. Keller, Jr., and Timmy Cooper.

Mrs. Glazener is survived by two children, Dr. Edwin Loyd Glazener of San Diego, California, and Una Grace Glazener Nash of Huntsville; six grandchildren, Charles Glazener of Williamsburg, Va., Dr. Christopher Glazener and Gretchen Glazener Colachis. both of San Diego, Julianna Nash Woodall of Huntsville, Grace Ann Nash of Houston and Amanda Claire Nash of San Francisco, Calif. Great-grandchildren, Micou and Sacia Glazener of Williamsburg, Christiana, Kenna Page and Calla Leigh Woodall of Huntsville, and James William Loyd, Christopher Charles and August Edwin Colachis of San Diego, Calif. And three nephews, James David Lott of Fairfield, Dr. Frank Loyd Dent of New York, N.Y. and William Loyd Lott of Corpus Christi. She was also the sister of Mary Grace Dent of Fairfield and the late James Edward (Son) Lott.

Arrangements were made by Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield.
