Funeral services were held Monday, August 21, for Mary Ethel Jackson, 59, of Buffalo who died Saturday at her home.  Mrs. Jackson was born August 9, 1930 at Keechi and had owned and operated Mary Webb Beauty School in Pasadena for a number of years.  

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Buffalo and had served on the Trinity River Authority board of directors and on the grievance committee of the State Bar Association.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Buffalo with James Teer and Rev. Ted Gross officiating.

Burial was at the Buffalo Cemetery.  Pallbearers were B. E. (Gene) Lee, Fred Magouirk, J. B. Lane, Royce Wilson, Pleaze Ferguson and Jerome Bezdek.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband, Mack A. Jackson of Buffalo; three sons, Rex Gaylord Webb and Shelton Scott Webb, both of Buffalo, and Daryl Keaton Webb of Pasadena; two brothers, James Henson of Buffalo and Tim Henson of Pasadena; a sister, Sallie Gore of Buffalo; and eight grand children.

Arrangements were made by Ricks Funeral Home of Teague.
