Homer Phillips

Funeral services were held Monday, December 21, 1992, at the First Baptist Church of Fairfield for Homer Phillips, 78, of Fairfield who died Sunday in Corsicana.

Mr. Phillips was born April 7, 1914, in Alto and was an electrician, member of the Fairfield Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church.

Services were conducted at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Johnny Dammon officiating. Burial was in the Fairfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Lyles, Chuck Lyles, Jimmy White, Rusty White, Waverly Drinkard, Russell Wilkins, and Gerald White.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife, Alva Phillips of Fairfield; a stepdaughter, Ruby White of Houston; a stepson, Gene Lyles of Fairfield; three brothers, Roy Phillips and Jewell Phillips, both of Fairfield, and Irvin Phillips of Conroe; a sister, Eula Lusk of Houston; four grandsons, one granddaughter, two great-granddaughters, and one great-grandson.

Arrangements were made by Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield.
