Comments: John came to Rusk Co. in 1840 when he was ten yrs old. He served in the 10th Tx Cavalry in Civil War and Farmed on Family Land. Mary was born in Rusk and later Gregg and stayed  here all her life. She graduated from Marshall Masonic Institute in 1870.
