  Allen, Carol - Pfc Carol Allen, son of Mr & Mrs Jessie E Allen, husband of Mrs Mable Quintall Allen. Entered 42nd Eng. Med. Det. 1941; trained at Camp Barkley, Texas. Has served in Alaska for 2 1/2 years and in the Aleutians. Has Good Conduct Medal, Battle Stars and ATO Ribbon.
  Allen, Clyde V - Pvt Clyde V Allen, husband of Carmen Arnold Allen. Entered Army Eng. Corps 1942; trained at Camp Caliborne, La. Has served in England, France, Germany, Belgium, where now on duty. Holds ETO Ribbon with 5 Battle Stars.
Allen Horace V - Cpl Horace V Allen, son of Mr & Mrs Roy P Allen, entered Army Med. Air Corps 1941; trained at Camp Bowie, Texas. Has served in N Africa. Holds Good Conduct Ribbon, 2 Battle Stars. Wounded in Libyan Desert in 1942. Has discharge.

  Allen, William E - Pfc William E Allen, son of Mr & Mrs J J Allen, and husband of Mary Alyce Thomas Allen, entered the Air Force 1942; trained at Ellington Field, Texas, Buckley Field, Hunter Field. Went overseas Dec 16, 1943; serving in Hawaii, where he is still stationed.

Anderson, Homer L - S/Sgt Homer L Anderson, son of Rev and Mrs Deckert Anderson, entered Army 1942; trained at Camp Swift, Texas. Killed in action while commanding the first platoon of men who went ashore in the Normandy Invasion on D-Day, June 6, 1944.

Arnold, Carroll E - GM 2/c Carroll E Arnold, son of Mr & Mrs J E Arnold, entered Navy 1943; trained at Farraguts Idaho and San Diego, Calif. Served in the Philippines, Solomons, Marianas, Fijis, East Indies, Hawaii, Carolinas, and Admiralties. On USS Presley in the Pacific now.
Arnold, Gordon W - FO Gordon W Arnold, husband of Helen Johnson Arnold, entered Air Corps 1942; trained at Selman Field, Monroe, La. and Lake Charles, La. Served in the Biak Island, and Philippines. Killed in action at Zuon, Jan. 13, 1945. Awarded Purple Heart and Air Medal with 2 Clusters.
