Lee, James - Cpl James Lee, husband of Hallie Jones Lee, entered the QM Corps in 1942; trained at Camp Stewart, Ga. and Camp Phillips, Kan. Served in England, France, and Germany. Has two Battle Stars, Expert Rifleman's Medal. Now discharged.
Lover, Lube P - Pfc Lube P Lover, son of Anna and Rufus Lover, attended Tatum HS. Entered Army in 1941; trained at Ft Huachuca, Ariz. Has served in the South Pacific, where he is still on duty.
Lucas, Clarence C - S/Sgt Clarence C Lucas, son of Mrs Lizzie Lucas and husband of Bessie Roudof Lucas. Entered Army in 1942; trained in Virginia and Penn. Now on duty at New Orleans, La.
Lucas, Elijah J - Cpl Elijah J Lucas, son of Mrs Lizzie Lucas, entered Army in 1942; trained at Camp Wheeler, Ga. Served in the Philippines, and still on duty there.
Lucas, Kermit W - Cpl Kermit Lucas, son of Mrs Lizzie Lucas. Entered Army in 1942; trained at Camp Swift, Austin, Texas, and served in New Guinea and now on duty in the Philippines.
