Neck Almost Severed.

Two Negroes Have a Fight: One is
a Corpse.


Longview, Tex., Oct 8.--Near Elderville, Nathan Cotton, Jr. and in this county, Nathan Cotton, Jr. and another negro had a difficulty. A shotgun was discharged almost against Cotton's neck, which nearly severed the negro's neck, killing him instantly. Jim Blackman was jailed.
