Mrs. T G Akin Died Last Night; Funeral Here

Mrs. T G Akin, widow of the late T G Akin, who died in 1902, died last night in 
Smithville, Texas, according to news received by relatives here, where the funeral 
will be held Sunday.

Mrs Akin was eighty-two yyears of age. She was born in Tennessee, removed to Missouri, 
when a girl, and came to Texas in 1862. 

Mrs Akin is survived by five children, who are; Mrs. Jas. Stephens of Dallas; Mrs. J. 
M. Kemp, Smithville; J. W. Akin, Longview, R. H. Akin, Austin, and C. G. Akin of Longview.

The remains will arrived in Longview tonight at 11:55 o'clock on the L.G.N. and funeral 
will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence of J W Akin on North 
Fredonia Street, with interment in Grace Hill cemetery. The many firnds of the family 
in this city will sincerely regret the death of this good Christian woman and will 
extend sincerest sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
