Alexander, Sara Mae Baker 


Services for Sara Mae Baker Alexander, 93, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, 
July 5, 2006, at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Park. 
Mrs. Alexander died June 30, 2006, in Longview. Born February 13, 1913, in Eldred, 
Ill., she worked at LeTourneau University in the late 1960s, and in later years 
became a very good artist with oil paints. She was a special lady, mother and mamaw 
and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her daughter, 
Bonnie Baker Creech; son, Thomas Baker; and sisters, Ina Mary Scoggins, Hannah Long 
and Alma Stipp. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2006, at the funeral home.
