Alfred, Gary E. Services for Gary E. Alfred, 56, of Hallsville, will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2007, at Macedonia Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steve Cochran officiating. Interment will be in Memory Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Alfred died January 11, 2007, at a local hospital. Born August 11, 1950, in Longview, he was a retired machinist from LeTourneau Manufacturing, Inc., and active member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Interment will be in Memory Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Thursday, January 11, 2007, at a local hospital. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today, January 14, 2007, at the funeral home. Mr. Alfred was born August 11, 1950, in Longview, to George and Dorothy Alfred, and had been a resident of Hallsville most of his life. He was a retired machinist from LeTourneau Manufacturing Inc. Mr. Alfred was a very active member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters and son-in-law, Kristy Alfred Walters and husband, Pete, and April Alfred, all of Hallsville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Sandy Alfred of Keller, Texas, and Randy and Betty Alfred of Hallsville; grandchildren, Amber and Kelton Walters, and Dalton Fenton; and several nieces and nephews.
