Andrews, Gordon Lee    

A memorial service for Gordon Lee Andrews, 56, of Longview, will be 11 a.m. 
Tuesday, August 22, 2006, at Parkway Baptist Church, with Pastor Jeff Roadcap 
officiating, under the direction of Welch Funeral Home. Mr. Andrews died Friday, 
August 18, 2006, at a local hospital. Mr. Andrews was born September 18, 1949, 
in Marshall, to James Harrell and Jean Wood Andrews. He attended Parkway 
Baptist Church and had been a resident of Longview for 36 years. Mr. Andrews is 
survived by his wife, Pinkie Andrews of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, 
Allen and Ronda Andrews of Longview; sister, Amy Moore of Longview; sister and 
brother-in-law, Vickie and Pat Bailey of Marshall; and a large, loving, 
extended family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to 
The American Cancer Society, c/o Longview Cancer Center Relay for Life Team, 
1300 North Fourth St., Longview, TX 75601. The family will receive friends 
6-9 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2006, at Mr. Andrews' home. An online registry may
