Doreen Armstrong

Graveside services for Doreen Armstrong, 64, of Longview will be 9 a.m. Saturday 
in Grace Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Norvell officiating. Burial will be 
under the direction of Welch Funeral Home.

Mrs Armstrong died Thursday in a Longview hospital.

She had been a Longview resident for 10 years, moving from St. Petersburg, Fla. She 
was a member of Mobberly Baptist Church and served as a residential live-in with the 
elderly and children. 

Survivors include her sons, Bill Parrymore of Longview and Don Jarboe of Wichita, 
Kan; daughters, Shirley Mae of Atkins, Ark, Mary Grubbs of Fletcher, Okla., and 
Kathy Peel of St. Petersburg; and nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home 7-8 p.m. Friday.
