Ash, Marie "Dickie" 

Funeral services for Marie "Dickie" Ash, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 
18, 2006, in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, with the Reverend Tom 
Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery. The family will 
greet friends 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Ash died Thursday morning, March 16, 
2006, at her residence. Mrs. Ash moved to Longview in 1938, following her marriage to 
Huel Ash. She owned and operated Ash Paint Distributing and Ash Upholstery and Drapery. 
Mrs. Ash was a member of the Oakland Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her 
daughter, Gwendolyn; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded 
in death by her husband, and their son, Richard. A memorial guestbook may be signed
