Adams, Celine DeClerk Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2007, at St. Paul's Catholic Church with Father John Marconi officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery of Pocahontas, Ark., under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home. Mrs. Adams passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2007, in Longview. She was born March 12, 1955, in Pocahontas, Ark. She attended St. Paul's Catholic School in Pocahontas, Ark. She earned her R.N. degree from Kilgore Junior College and was pursuing a master's degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler. She was a Registered Nurse practicing at Good Shepherd Medical Center And Select Specialty. In addition to her ongoing nursing career, Celine volunteered as a Cub Scout Den Mother and Habitat for Humanity. Through the Episcopal Church, she served as youth group leader, Daughters of the King, Order of St. Luke, Altar Guild, Lay Eucharistic Minister, and minister to the sick. Celine's gratefulness, love of others, and bright smile will always be remembered and missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ula Thennes DeClerk. She is survived by her husband, Bill Adams of Longview; sons, Zachary Adams of Houston, Aaron Adams and wife, Heather, and granddaughter, Halina of Chicago, Ill.; and daughter, Megan Adams of Amarillo. She is also survived by her father, Dr. Thomas DeClerk and wife, Kathleen; and her sisters and brothers, Bernadine Cox, Susan Rice, Diane Burnham, Martha Dust, Clare Keltner, Charles DeClerk, Tom DeClerk and Celeste Adams. Memorial contribution may be made to Beacon Hospice, P.O. Box 5908, Longview, TX 75608. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. this evening, September 14, 2007, at Rader Funeral Home.
