GREGG COUNTY - DANVILLE CEMETERY Mrs. Virginia Adams departed her earthly life and began her heavenly life Saturday, December 15, 2012. Virginia was born August 12, 1934 in Kilgore, Texas to Lillie Mae and Edward Denmon. She married the love of her life, Lee Adams, on May 26, 1950; they were truly one. She spent the first 20 years of her marriage as an Air Force wife traveling with her husband and daughters to various Air Force bases stateside and abroad. Virginia and Lee returned to Kilgore in 1976. Virginia was a homemaker, a loving wife, and devoted mother. Her family was the joy of her life and she cherished spending time with her husband, daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Virginia is survived by her husband of 62 years, Lee Adams, her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Monty McClurg, daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Steve Mooney, and daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Doug Maynard. She is also survived by 8 loving grandchildren, Stephanie Mooney, Cody Mooney, Melissa Botter, Stacey Greenwood, Scott Maynard, Cassie McClurg, Ginnie Henley, and Jay McClurg, and 11 great-grandchildren, Alexis Hawkins, Brighton Mooney, Ryder Mooney, Marlee Botter, Jud Botter, Averi Botter, Makensi Greenwood, Kyndal Greenwood,Karsyn Maynard, Connor McClurg, and Katie McClurg. She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Lillie Mae Adams, and Edward Denmon, as well as her brother, Doyle Denmon, and sister, Helen Brasher.
