Horatio Barnes

Horatio Barnes, aged 33 years, eldest son of Mr. & Mrs. L.J. barnes, died at 
this home in Houston last Monday at 5 a.m. of Typhoid fever, after an extended 
illness. He worked for the M.K. & T. Railway Co. He was born, reared and educated 
in Longview. 

His remains were brought here Tuesday. The funeral was conducted from the home of 
his brother-law, R.A. McLain, at 10 a.m. by Dr. A.A. Duncan, assisted by the other 
local pastors. Burial was at Grace Hill cemetery. 

We condole with the parents, brothers and other relatives in their deep sorrow.
