Bearss, Betty Sue Parks EL DORADO, Ark. -- Betty Sue Parks Bearss, 76, of Longview, formerly of El Dorado, Ark., died Friday, October 6, 2006, at a local hospital. Betty was born May 16, 1930, in Prescott, Ark., to Ray and Bessie Aileen McMillian Jones. She was a member of College Avenue Church of Christ. Betty is survived by a special friend, Glenn R. Wells of Longview; daughters, Sherry and Van Dumas of El Dorado, and Linda and Tommy Smith of Henderson; son, Julius Ray and Ginger Parks of Memphis; grandsons, Vandy and Allison Dumas of El Dorado, Scotty and Codi Fife of Longview, Justin and Mary Lisa Barnes of Memphis, and Chris Smith of Dallas; granddaughters, Candace Stone and Drew of Conway, Haley and Troy Chapman of Austin, and Lexie and Anthony Jones of Memphis; grandsons, Matt and Jennifer Orr, Todd and Matt Smith, all of Longview; nine great-grandchildren; and two aunts, Emma Lee Ferguson and Edith Gibbs, both of El Dorado. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, with Scotty Wayne Fife officiating. Visitation will begin 11:30 a.m. Tuesday until service time.
